1781, 2 Jun, captured by Indians near Frankstown, Providence twp, Bedford Co, PA, killed a few days later.
Drummer in the PA State Militia.
1782, 13 May, Bedford Co PA, Joseph McDonald & Joseph Sparks appointed guardian of Sarah, Katherine, Hugh & Mary. Redmond chose Daniel Means as Guardian, and Edward Taylor appointed guardian of a son and daughter of William McDonald, both under 14 and unnamed.
1784, 15 Jan, Bedford Co PA, Catherine, daughter of William, on recommendation of J. McDonald & J. Sparks, bound for 7 years to Thomas Woods, until she reaches 18 (makes her about 11 at the time).
Also, John McDonald, son of William, bound to Hugh Means upon applicaton of J McDonald & J Sparks.
